Description
The direct circulation group is capable of ensuring the correct flow rate of the carrier fluid and adequate pressure in all heating systems that require a circulator or for the loading of boilers, where the supply temperature corresponds to the working temperature of the generator.
The group consists of the supply and return branches. The return branch includes the system shut-off valve, thermometer, and non-return valve. The non-return valve can be excluded during system maintenance. The supply branch includes the shut-off valve, thermometer, circulation pump, and a valve for excluding the circulator in case of maintenance. The group is typically supplied with the supply and circulator on the right side. In some models, the supply and return can be easily reversed, even directly on-site.
Some models, provided with non-modulating circulators, can be equipped with a hydraulic bypass on the system side to ensure proper water circulation even with thermostatic valves on the radiators.
The mixed circulation group with a fixed point and motorized version can ensure the correct flow rate and adequate pressure in all heating systems where direct control of the supply temperature is required.
In the fixed-point mixed version, by setting the working temperature on the thermostatic mixing valve, effective and secure control of the system’s supply is achieved when it differs from the supply of the heat generator. The group is supplied as standard with a mixing valve adjustable between 20° and 43°C.
In the motorized mixed version, by setting the working temperature through an electronic control unit, precise and modulating control of the system’s supply is achieved when it differs from the supply of the heat generator. It is perfect for pairing with a control unit that manages the external probe and temperature regulation curves.
The group is supplied as standard with a Grundfos UPM3 Hybrid circulator, ErP-Ready.
