Description
The ISPESL circular of 18/09/2006, regarding heating systems structured with two heat generators, one powered by solid fuel and the other by a different fuel, specifies:
“In the case where the primary heat transfer fluid from two generators enters the thermal storage without any dividing element, the sum of the capacities is considered, and therefore, if the value of 35 kW is exceeded, the system falls under the obligation provided by the D.M. 1/12/1975, taking into account the cited regulatory updates. The presence of a heat exchanger between the two generators constitutes a hydraulic separation between the respective heat transfer fluids, and therefore, it is considered unnecessary to sum the capacities.”
The NOVABOX hydraulic separation modules, models 110/111/120/121, through their hydraulic layout, not only manage the heating circuit hydraulics but also comply with the requirements of the ISPESL circular and provide top-level hydraulic performance. The circulators, UPM3 Hybrid models from GRUNDFOS, are the high-end versions. They allow for head up to 7 meters and offer the possibility to set management curves for:
• Proportional pressure (default)
• Constant pressure
• Constant curves
The modules come standard with hydraulic accessories that make installation simple and complete, such as:
• System faucets
• Non-return valves
• Air vents
• Safety valve
• Temperature control probes
The hydraulic solutions are supplied complete with a metal box, which can be wall-mounted or recessed, powder-coated.
